In our last blog we talked about being prepared for summer by understanding the most common plumbing issues that can happen. We only had time to go over a couple, clogged disposals and sewer backups. Today, we will be discussing the rest of the typical summertime plumbing issues that our Fairview Heights plumber deals with on a daily basis:

  • Washing machine issues-You are especially susceptible to laundry issues if your children are home from school. When your kids are spending their days at the pool or engaging in outdoor activities at the park, there will be a great deal of extra laundry to do. All of that laundry can add up quick and put lots of strain on your washing machine. Avoid problems by staying home while you are doing the laundry, so that if there is an issue, you can turn your machine off right away and get help.
  • Clogged toilets- With the kids being home from school all day long, there are many more people using the bathroom, which can quickly lead to clogs. By teaching your kids to use the appropriate amount of toilet paper, you can cut down on toilet clogs.

When you understand which plumbing issues to watch out for (and how to avoid them), you can save yourself a great deal of frustration and money, which is always our goal over at Culler Plumbing Services. We offer great deals and expert service. If you notice any of these issues in your home, don’t hesitate to call us right away.
