Have you had a chance to read our latest blog yet? If you have, then you already know how important it is to watch out for signs of a clogged sewer line. Our Collinsville plumber also went over a couple of common signs of a clogged sewer line: a bad odor and a backed up toilet. These are just a couple of the many signs of a clogged sewer line. The following is a list of the last few signs of a clog in your sewer line:
- Several clogs at once – Have your shower and your toilet both stopped working at the same time? Don’t chalk this up to coincidence. When more than one of your fixtures get clogged, it’s an indicator that there is a problem with your sewer lines.
- Gurgling noises – Have you noticed a gurgling noise coming from your drain? Gurgling noises are often a sign that the air and water in your sewer lines are having a hard time getting through them.
- Clean-out drainage – The clean-out is your access to your sewer home’s line, and it is commonly located in front yards. Every so often, unscrew the lid of your clean-out to check for either standing of coming out. Regardless of whether the water is standing still or coming out of your clean-out, they are signs that you have a clog in your sewer line.
