#3. Screeching

Do you notice a screeching sound when you turn on your faucet? Does the sound seem to disappear when the water is flowing and the valve is completely open? If so, this could be a sign that your faucet has a defective part. The only way to fix this issue is by replacing the defective part, and your plumber can help you determine which part it is.

#4. Creaking

There’s nothing creepier than hearing your pipes creak through the walls, but before you call the Ghostbusters, you need to call a plumber! The creaking in your pipes is actually a sign that your pipes are contracting and expanding. This issue can usually be corrected by insulating the pipes or increasing the wall space.
